Ibbaka is a highly collaborative company. We work to build a community of people and organizations committed to creating and delivering value, whether than be economic, emotional or pricing. A lot of our work is centred on pricing. Some is focussed on innovation. In all cases we are looking to help people develop their skills. One way we do this is through our collaborations with the venture capital firms Arthur Ventures and OpenView Venture Partners.

Why partner with venture capital firms and in particular these two firms?

Arthur Ventures offers ‘early growth capital beyond Silicon Valley.’ This is important. For the innovation economy to succeed innovation will need to be distributed across many communities. Here in British Columbia, one of the most exciting growth companies is ThoughtExchange, located in the small town of Rossland BC. Innovation is springing up all over the world and we need VCs that understand this and can build the networks needed to do this. Arthur Ventures is showing leadership in this.

OpenView Venture Partners is well known for its leadership in new approaches to building and scaling growth companies. They have led with the development of compelling frameworks for Product Led Growth. Kyle Poyar, the VP Growth has led this work and has recently been focussing on usage-based pricing. Usage-based pricing has been shown in many contexts to accelerate growth and to focus companies on the value they are creating for customers.
