Most knowledge workers will be collaborating with AIs like Open.ai’s ChatGPT in 2023. What skills will we need to work with these tools? We asked ChatGPT and then ran the results through the Ibbaka Valio skill extraction engine.

The European Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp) is gaining significant traction in Europe where it is being used to structure large scale training programs and to guide workforce development. We spoke with Margherita Bacigalupo about the approach she took to the design and development of this model and how her skill in UI and UX design helped her in this work.

Competency models can become large rigid structures that try to fit people into boxes. A good competency model is a living document, informed by the real skills people are using and the conversations they are having. It needs curation, or as we like to say gardening. When designing a competency model, make sure you are engaged with the people it represents, and cultivate that engagement as you would a garden.
